Players in the U6 division have not yet turned 6 years old by December 31st of the current year. They are 4 and 5 years old. In Chester, we encourage parents to join their kids on the field for the once-a-week small group practice and game.
Most children in the 6-and-under age bracket are new to soccer, and this season may be their first experience in an organized team setting. At this age, children are generally not focused on comparing their soccer skills with their teammates; they are mainly interested in being with friends, having fun, and learning the sport.
All participants in Chester Soccer are expected to abide by the highest standards of Sportsmanship and accountability. Players, Guardians and Coaches are asked to review our Codes of Conduct prior to start of play.
